This year the cream teas took place at the end of July at Egdean House. The weather stayed fair, the supply of cakes was plentiful and we had a steady stream of visitors from far and wide.
Every June there is a barbecue in the Church grounds; good food, lots of drink, book, cake, plant stalls and the infamous and bountiful raffle.
Most years we also try and put on a barn dance which includes live music, a big supper and some drinking. No matter how many left feet, everyone has a dance at the insistence of the band.
In the past, we have also put on a flower festival at the church, which saw everything festooned with blooms of all types. We hope to do it again at some point.
Egdean Garden Experience
In 2015 thirteen gardens not normally open to the public in the Egdean\Byworth area were open for visitors to look round. Tea and scrumptious cakes were served at the end of their visit.
